I'm in the process of upgrading my front brake brake calipers on my 1991 Infiniti Q45 to the BNR32 front calipers, and the right front factory caliper has a sensor mounted on it. After swapping the passenger caliper to the R32 calipers, I don't know where to mount this sensor? Can someone who has upgraded their front calipers tell me a good location to mount this sensor. Can someone tell me what this sensor is? I've been looking in the FSM and can't seem to find it anywhere. Will mounting this sensor somewhere other than the caliper affect something or set of a light in the dash. Thank you to anyone who has upgraded their front brake Calipers on their 1st gen Infiniti Q45 to R32 or 300ZX brakes who can help or reply!

If I'm not mistaken, that's the ABS sensor for the AWD ATTESSA system on the R32. You won't have the trigger ring that is typically integrated on the front axle shaft (remember, that car was AWD, yours is not), so you can simply tuck it away someplace where it won't get damaged.
