My axle literally fell off the other day and there were only 3 bolts to be found resting under the base and one was snapped (thankfully none are broken inside where it mounts to) the issue.... I thought i had found some online from autozone and received them today and they are ofcourse completely wrong. So I went to the hardware and got some flange bolts that match all except that the head on these ones are a 13mm vs what I assume to be a 10 on the other ones... they do look like there is tech enough clearance on the axle itself but I think it's making me struggle getting any combination of ratchet to fit on there. Is there any place to get the proper bolts or do I just make work with what I have?

Exactly which bolts are you talking about? If you mean the ones which hold the hub to the knuckle, they're part number 081B4-2605M and it's a good p/n for both Infiniti and Nissan. You can get them from InfinitiPartsDeal.com if you don't want to pay list-plus at the dealer.

The ones that hold the inner drives shaft to the other half of the axle... not sure about proper names. There's 6 of them. That hold this thing

Parts book says those are p/n 39606-JF00A for the rear shaft, 08310-30612 for the front (that's a front, I think?). I imagine allen or torx cap screws would work fine too.

If you can get me a pic and thread pitch of the remaining one, I may have some in my stash.

I don't see any of the Nissan part available anyplace, Melloy Nissan has a couple but they don't have 6. Even Amayama shows no stock on all 3 variants.

That said, I'd be very certain you can use allen or torx cap screws if you just get the pitch, diameter, and length of the survivor and look up something that fits in McMaster-Carr.

K wasn't sure if those would be more prone to snapping. I may try another attempt at the bolt variants I got that have the 14mm head. It looked like two would fit without overlapping but I probably can't fit a wrench over both. Maybe I could use 1 bolt and 1 torx for each side

Why not just use the correct fasteners?

14mm head is too big for those, and when you mix/match things, you have different (albeit minor) weight and clamping force of each side.

It fell off for a reason - either improper installation or improper hardware.

The thing I always liked best about McMaster-Carr is that you can get exact dimensions for practically every fastener they sell, and for most you can get strength and materials specs as well. So there's no reason to get anything that won't fit in the hole or won't be strong enough.

Yep. My suspicion is they're shanked G8 bolts with a 10 or 12mm head.

So now several weeks later I once again got shipped the incorrect bolts. So id say it's safe to assume nobody actually has them. Im hesitant to use the torx screw but sounds like that may be my only option to
. The 14mm bolts i have are just barely shorter but I dont think I could fit a wrench on them. Socket wont work

I don't want to be a jerk here, but buying a thread checker would've saved you a ton of time. I think I even offered to supply them with the correct dimensions.
