Just as the title implies. I have spent a couple years studying and messing with G/Q platform cars and have come to a conclusion; YES it is possible to get awd and manual in your Infiniti/nissan and it’s almost factory level with minimal cutting to allow for it to work. But it’s also not expensive. No offense to anyone but I want this kit to be approachable for anyone, and not just for the more economically well off. I just want to test the waters before I try to make this as a kit. I made a few years ago a question to try to gain information from the vast knowledge of others but sadly as most post go for this topic, little to no support. Well I took it into my own hands. I will be trying to make a running prototype soon and post here and where ever else to gain traction for this. We have all wanted it and I want to deliver it. But I want help from the community to help find answers to the not so nice side of this; money. I don’t want anyone to feel like this is me asking for money cause it’s not that. I want to see what anyone is willing to pay for such a kit for diy and what someone would pay to have it installed? Please if anyone can answer with true honesty these questions, it may help with pushing this project forward and get awd back into these cars how it was intended:
with 3 pedals and a gear slamming shifter.
Simple questions with simple answers
What would you pay for such a kit to install at home?
What would a price tag for install and tuning be?
Electronically it is sound and I have a tuner to back me up on this, but I repeat, this needs to be realistic numbers, because we all would love free stuff but economically it’s not sound nor am I Jeff bezos to make funding this easy. But it is attainable. Hope to hear back from you all soon.
