Hello Fellow Datsun owners.
I need help. I need to find new front wheel bearing for my restoration. I am striking out everywhere. Does anyone have a parts manual for this truck. Nissan cant help without a part number.
Best Regards

Rock Auto shows a variety of them.

Thanks for responding. I ordered them from Rock Auto. What they sent was a Timken #30206 which is dimensionally incorrect. Did'nt notice right away so my loss. The bearing number stamped on the inner wheel bearing I removed was a SKF number 32KB02, which crosses over to a BR30206. The same number as rock auto. The Datsun part number 40211-32200 according to Nissan crosses over to 30206 as well. All they can say is that someone changed the spindle hubs at some point. That has'nt happened. I'm stuck. May have to reuse the original bearing as they are'nt shot.

My only suggestion at this point would be to get the dimensions from the old bearing with a digital caliper. Then plug them into an online catalog or get hold of a bearing spec guide. NTN's online service...

BTW, I have gotten mis-boxed parts from Rock Auto. Did the new bearing have 30206 stamped on it?
Another option is to enlist the help of a bearing and seal distributor. They know all of the ins and outs and have the reference material to ID your bearing. I used Alaska Bearing (Anchorage) quite often when I worked up there.

Thanks for your help. I reached out to SKF and Timken and I got no real solution. It appears this bearing size is no longer available or is obsolete. I may to either rework the spindle and hub sizes or install the old bearings which are in decent shape. I just wanted to replace them as I had things disassembled. I will try this NTN site you have supplied as another attempt to locate the correct bearing. I have another question for you or anyone that has worked on the rear axle. I have replaced the bearing and seals in the rear wheel ends. After installing the bearing I do not understand how the preload is set? Is it the shims that sit between the wheel end and the axle housing?

That's a question I can't answer as my import experience is limited. It uses a tapered roller bearing so it should have some sort of adjuster on it.

I did a quick search and it appears to use shims on the rear axle.
