vibration dampener

is there an easier way to get the vibration dampener(harmonic balancer) of a 1985 nissan 300zx.trying to replace the water pump and thats where im stuck.

rent the tool from auto zone. you'll need to buy your own bolts to fit the balancer though.

yup, just use a puller and it'll come right off

i apologize,didnt word my post right.i really meant the bolt in the end of the crankshaft thats my problem.the manual says stick a pry bar in the flywheel but no success.thanks

Then you're doing something wrong. That's the single best way to do this. Or get an impact gun.

put the car in gear, have someone standing ont he brake pedal, get a long cheater pipe and turn

or an impact makes quick work of it
