Got the files and better graphs today, just for fun heres the new motor baseline vs my original setup basiclly 100kmile motor (red) vs 227kmile motor (blue). Much better to start with.

Heres the baseline pull (blue) vs the vtc turned off ( red) made about an 8hp increase up top. This new motor is running a little rich for some reason, dont know if the wideband from the dyno was good though, got to check a few things on the engine.

This is a tune with timing and fuel made the best increases down low almost 40lbft of tq below 4000rpm.

so does the VVT on these engines work continuously like on the VQ35DE or is it an on/off 20 degree switch? I've searched and can't find an answer. I wonder because I saw your VVT on/off dyno.

If this is a case I wonder if one of the continuously variable pulleys could be retrofitted

...oh, and your car is beautiful dude! My goal is to have a project just like yours!

I've had good luck with own made intakes with putting velocity stacks on them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

I realize your probably not going to run with just a MAF on the end of your intake tube all the time....

A tad off topic but is there any block adapters that will work like the tomei one for the SR20 to relocate the filter and hook up an oil cooler?

Well ill be updating here in the coming weeks, the car is almost done and coming out awesome i might add. I cant wait to get this out on the track.

I will be probably spraying some nitrous thru this when i go to the drag strip, we shall see.

As for the oil relocation kit, the oil filter is the same as the 300zx and probably the skyline as well. So any relocation kit for either of those cars will work. Just cross reference the oil filter and if they are the same part number, there you go.
