Two questions -gs14racer wrote:got it running finally.
ITS FAST!!!!
5.114 volts on the maf cant possibly be good right?? lol, it hits that in 3rd gear at 7000rpm. Sigh.. more money to be spent now... or i cant try moving the maf around as i find it hard to believe im making 450whp.
Anyway heres a timing log 2nd gear pull to redline, big props to steve, as the tune he gave me seems to be pretty spot on for a base to start from.

The numbers across the top are TP... essentially Nissan's verbiage for Load.Nealoc187 wrote:
Two questions -
Do you have a datalog from your engine management software of your dyno run, if not, what sort of advance are you running at torque peak and then at redline?
Second, what units are those across the top of your timing map? (the ones going from 8 to 113)
Do you know how it calculates it by chance?SuperHatch wrote:

AFAIK, no one has cracked the exact formula for how the Nissan ECU calculates load. I can give you an idea of how it is calculated on other platforms, and I'm willing to bet Nissan uses a very similar strategy.Nealoc187 wrote:

I've got some spare phase 2 injectors if you need them...T45 wrote:Jerry, let me know when you upgrade your injectors. I think one or two of mine are jacked up, I think the shaking I have is related.
I ran a guy at work during lunch last week, 300 SRT-8, basically the Z is about as fast, maybe a tiny bit slower. He pulls me but barely. I was impressed. After the runs the VH was running about 1500 rpms and wouldn't come back down. Either an injector is clogged, stuck or something, smells real rich especially in the morning. Lemme know...
