You know now that I see pics of your vert...I realized that I saw one just like yours down here in FL...near the Miami area...lime green, stock rims, etc. It was parked on somebody's lawn. But your in PA...unless you decided to take a vacation...

Yea I know that (seen powerline's vert in real life). I was referring to masterque's vert. I said that because his first pics had stock rims and didn't look right with the lip, side skirts, and paint job. After he put on the new rims, it looked a lot better.

Just got a 1993 240SX Convertible. wanting to fix it up of course. could anybody help with the specifics i need to know about ordering body kits for this car (not interested in silvia conversions though, seems to be popular).

Interested in drifting too, so any advice with bodykits for driting would be kool too, cause i know how low the front nose is.

Thanks, peace.

You just find the body kit you want and order it. The Vertex kit looks nice on a vert. Drifting and body kits don't mix well unless you own an auto body shop

If you really want to drift, get a coupe as a second car, gut the interior, and build up the suspension.

My advice:If you want to use a vert for drifting, I would say focus on suspension and stiffening the chassis even more first. I'm not really a fan of those bodykits that make cars look like snowplows. I think that if you're going to abuse your ride, just get a lip and some side skirts. If you absolutely must have a kit, I would say look for a urethane one rather than one made of fiberglass (fiberglass cracks...and a little more work involved in installation). Ordering bodykits isn't that hard...choosing one yeah maybe but the ordering process shouldn't be. Just look for a company (make sure they're reputable) that sells kits for 240sx's.

I am not so sure about how true this is but i've heard the Origin kits do have a purpose. The front bumper actually directs airflow into the intercooler. However someone will have to verify this for me.

yeah - if you are looking for sideways thrills, don't waste your money on a kit - yet.

Me....I'm holding off until I do another season's worth of events...and I'll see from there....paint/kit is the last thing I will do.

WAKE UP OLD THREAD! I COME TO RESSURECT YOU...

Found these while looking for something else...

This looks very similar to one I saw on Autotrader a few months back. I think the owner posted it on here in the classifieds section...not sure if it's the same one though.

This was the vert that was in Modified recently:

^^ I recognize your car with Ferrari badges. I've seen other pictures before somewhere.

This one's on eBay right now and I think it's tastefully done.

Tastefully done indeed...could use wheels with better offsets but it looks good overall.

That's pretty decent. I was going to do almost that exact same look at one time.

"Tasteful" being a relative term... to each his own.

I will be changing my rear spoiler and front corner lights, but I really like the look of it otherwise. Much better than most I've seen anyway.

I don't remember what kit it was, sorry.

I do remember however, that the front bumper is ugly. It looks like a floppy disk drive.
