Since we're all 'vert owners here, and some of you either have owned or do own a manual 240SX as well...

Is anyone planning on swapping out their transmission?

I have looked at the swap articles on the FAQ and some other places, but I'm wondering whether it's really worth doing, how much it runs, and if it makes that big a difference.

If you really enjoy driving manual in a cruising/daily driver car, I'd say it's worth it. I've done a couple auto-manual swaps (one being a convertible) and with a bud or two it's a half day process, max. The biggest annoyance I had was drilling the whole for the clutch master cylinder.
