Versa 2007 dash lights problem

Hi,

I have a versa 2007 but when i turn on the headlights,,all..the dash light will turn off.What can be the problem?

I'd take it to the dealer to solve this one. Is the roller switch for the dash lights turned up to the maximum? Perhaps there's a short from corrosion or water infiltrtation.

This exact same thing has happened to me on several occasions. Try rotating the little dash light wheel switch at the lower left side of the dash. Rotate it up to turn the dash lights brighter.

Sometimes, your knee may brush against this little wheel when you get in, rotating the switch all the way down. When the wheel is turned all the way downward, the dash lights will turn off when you turn on the headlights. This sometimes happens to me whenever my daughter has been driving the car, the seat is moved forward and I have a tight squeeze getting in, and I brush against the dash light adjuster wheel switch.

ditto on this. I hit that little roller ALL THE TIME! it always freaks me out until I remember that it is there.

hey thanks everyone for their help.never received so manny help in just 1 daythe problem is fixed,,it was indeed the swtich wheel.The car is of my mom and she didn;t know,
