My wife has a 2007 G35S. We have noticed that recently the BRAKE, VDC, and SLIP lights come on after the car is heavily accelerated. When gassed, the BRAKE light comes on. A few seconds later, the VDC and SLIP lights come on. Ten or so seconds later the CRUISE light comes on and it beeps. When this happens, the cruise doesn't work anymore until the car is turned off and restarted. I don't supposed there is any danger in this, but it is really annoying to not be able to use the cruise control. Has anyone heard of this before? I'm trying to avoid an expensive diagnostic at the dealer. I have a fairly advanced mechanical ability to fix it but unfortunately no ability to diagnose. Any ideas??

Hello, William. Welcome to NiCO.

This is an issue with either one of your ABS sensors or it might be because of a pinch in the wire loom that feeds the ABS sensors. Take it to a mechanic and have them run a diagnostic. It will tell you which is the case. In the meantime, you can check the ABS sensors for dirt, grit or metal shavings. Good luck!

:welcome: to NICO Willaim!

You might want to browse the factory service manual, available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ for some help with the diagnostics.

Good luck!

Heath
