VDC on or off?

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe (Automatic).....when i got my car the VDC was set to ON. When if ever do i turn it off?

If you get stuck in mud or snow it will help to have it turned off...

as joe603 said, when you are stuck, it will let you spin the wheels so that you can try to get out. another thing is that you can turn off to spin the wheels or slide your rear when you make a turn; however, be careful as you can spin out or even worse to loose control of the car completely

btw, i heard that vdc of g35 cannot be completely disabled or turned off
