Thanks guys, I needed some reassuring. I think you're right. i should sell and buy again in a few years when i'm making a bit more money.

I wouldnt say I got a "bad" one. she's just old and needs more attention than i can give it right now.

As for a miata..NO

unfortunately I have to love the car to love it so I dont see myself getting a cookie cutter car. So far the only car that i like is the Jeep wrangler. I was thinking i could sell my Z for a few grand, add another few grand and finance the rest. (Hopefully no mare than 10k)

Wrangler's are fun, cheap and easy to repair, but maintenance and reliability aren't anything special - drivetrain in particular. If you get one with low miles and good maintenance that hasn't been abused it's probably gonna be a great car. I love wranglers! But the one thing keeping me from getting one is gas mileage. It's close to the Z stock but if you want bigger tires it just goes down.

4000lbs. It's a cheapo one but it works.
