The little manual  that came with my truck 65 L320 E1 engine,  says the valve lifter clearance should be ( if I remember correctly) 35mm.

My question  is what is the proper procedure for adjustment ?

Engine running or not ?

firing order sequence or randomly ?

Intake, then exhaust for each cylinder , all intake, all exhaust first ?

Thanks

Joe

That is also detailed in the service manual you can download. It even has pictures to help illustrate specifically for the 320. If you haven't downloaded it go get it while it's still free! Ken
