Check these out.

I don't think they're intended to look like "V"s, but they do to me. It'd be pretty funny if someone put these on their Versa.

Why, sure they did....

Clearly you've used some kind of portal to disrupt the universe's space/time continuum and transport yourself over to the company's headquarters in Europe, take the head IT guy out for dinner and sweet-talk him into changing the online description for this product.

Well, yeah.

If you're ever in Omaha, I'll take you for an 88 MPH cruise in my DeLorean.

No, but I wouldn't mind having one. With a flux capacitor.

HA! I have a flux capcitor sitting on my desk right next to me. I have a friend who works for Universal Studios Orlando and she grabbed one for me when they took down the Back to the Future ride to put in the Simpsons ride. She was lucky to get one because they destroyed all the rest of the props.

Anyhoo, you don't want a DeLorean. They are cool looking but huge on repairs. My dad had one when I was in high school and I actually drove it around alot as he was 6'3" with bad knees so it was hard for him to get in and out. I called it his "mid-life crisis car". heh heh.

My friend's dad also had one but painted it black! I never got it. The WHOLE reason for a stainless steel body is so you DON'T have to paint it. That and it looked like crap.

Dude, that's pretty sweet you have an actual prop from the USO ride. Priceless right there.

Yeah, I know they are one of the biggest POS's out there, underpowered, and don't really handle worth a crap... heck our V's probably do better on a slalom course. Still would be cool to have one. It would be like owning a Ferrari or Lamborghini... just not a vehicle meant to be a DD, imo. Hell, I'd be hard pressed to log 500 miles a year on it. 'Course, if I were to get one, it would be getting a V8 crammed in the tail in place of that cruddy Renault V6. 0-60 in 10.5s (tested by Road & Track Magazine per Wiki)? No thanks.

He painted it? That's sacrilege!

I know...painting a DeLorean...what the hell!?

All my coworkers (who are techies...I'm a Systems Engineer for a SuperMarket chain) drool over my flux capacitor.

I remember when the car was first delivered to us at our house. It looked weird to me without all the stuff on the back like the Mr. Fusion. He got it somewhere in Houston and it was actually new. Apparently when the plant closed down overseas..all the left over parts were shipped to someplace in Houston. They rebuild, modify, and build new DeLoreans. We got ours with only 20 miles on it technically brand new. The only upgrade we got on it from the original specs was a CD player. It was definately underpowered for how it looked but it handled pretty well. Plus, it was easier to get in and out of in tight parking spots because of the doors.

It made me popular in high school I'll say that much! For my Senior year homecoming float we popped it up on blocks on a trailer, placed the wheels face down underneath it and had a fog machine. heh heh. I'll see if I can find a picture and post it sometime.
