using KA24e maf

I just installed my KA24e maf and have the settings to 4in 6out and now when i give her full throttle it seems like it falls in its face around 3500-4500rpm. Someone help

What do you mean with 4in 6 out? the Ka24E has 4 wires I believe

I think he's talking about his SAFC setting. You should just set it up like the stock MAFS. You don't actually need a SAFC to run the KAE MAFS, as they are pretty close in size.

yep, got the swap we did today running fine on a KA-E maf and no safc.

does it make that much of a gain with the ka/e mafs.if so i have a parts car with one i can swap it out.

we ran it because we don't have a CA maf. Its supposedly exactly the same specifications which is why you can just swap the two mafs without an SAFC to control it. According to some it has a slightly higher upper limit, but it wouldn't be worth swapping out a working CA maf for a SOHC KA one from a performance standpoint. The gains will be negligible. And in fact unless you're maxing out your current maf set up, even running a big z32 maf won't "make" more power.
