KA/CA/SR are all pretty much the same internally. I think 5th is the only difference between all of them. You'd still need a CA bellhousing.

The syncros are different between the UK CA and UK SR boxes, oh and all of the ratios (bar 4th of course).

Whether the differences exist in JDM stuff or not I'm usure.

As Floats says, you just need to swap the bellhousing.

The Giken kit requires that you use an SR box, or it could be myth and jsut that no one has tried putting the Giken kit into the CA box, but people here who have fitted the Giken set have used S14/SR boxes.

HERE is where I got my information from. Nothing says it's 100% accurate, and I'm assuming all of this info is related to JDM vehicles. The KA is also the same, except 5th ofcourse.

I used this site here with the data from the site Float posted and it appears as if the SR and KA trannies have the exact same gear ratios and the CA has a slightly shorter 5th gear. http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/

Because I know at 5th at 3k rpms, I am going exactly 70mph which is the same as the SR 5th gear. 0.759 ratio.
