Ok guys, I got a lot of people saying that they want to do the road rally but just couldn't make that weekend!

The rally is still the same as last time... Starts @ Memorial Park and ends in Galveston!!!

I'm thinking Labor Day weekend, is this good for you guys? It'll be right after August's Burger Meet!

Even if you don't want to participate in the rally, you can hang out at the park with the staff and other guys and after the rally starts we'll have a big cruise to Galveston after everyone starts!!!

Sunday, Sept 1st 2012, MEET AT 10AM!! Starting first car by 11am!!

If this is good with you guys please put your name on the list so I can have a head count!

If I get 10 people the $100 gift card is up for grabs again!

Sign up is still @ $15 a person. 10 people = 1st and 2nd place prizes only, the full 20 people = 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place prizes.

I have a lot of leftover prizes/handouts/gear from the last meet I organized so there will be prizes to be won just by finishing!!! Random Categories can include: -First VQ30 across the line, first Sentra, etc. etc.

What is a TSD Urban Road Rally? Well it's like a "p0ker Run" or a Bullrun type of race, there are checkpoints and there are times to be met.

The goal "Time" is not who's the fastest time, it's based on DOING THE POSTED SPEED LIMITS, so getting there the fastest is not the best of ideas!!!

Each checkpoint has a certain route to get there, even if you know where the destination is, you're taking a certain route there, which would be timed differently if you were to go along a more direct route.

This rally will take about 2 and 1/2 hrs, 125 miles of driving on mostly very friendly roads, there are one or two streets where I'd watch it if you were extremely lowered or "slammed" the dangerous parts or roads are marked on your maps for lip kit safety ;)

Even in the least fuel economic vehicle I've done it in, it didn't even take 1/2 a tank, took about 7 gallons in a SUV I drove the rally in, so don't forget to equate that in!

When it's all set and done we'll be on the beach! So load the car up w/ a cooler, wear some beach shorts have your flip flops and sunshade in the back and get ready to enjoy a nice afternoon on the beach w/ your fellow car enthusiast!!
