They are contacting them this week to talk and discuss the tune. I’m on a quick vacation so Friday I’ll be finding out what they discussed.

And yes I agree I’m not sure being the guinea pig is a good idea.

But correct me if I’m wrong. Sounds like there aren’t many options for me if uprev isn’t writing new maps. Joe, you can’t do the tune either at this stage, right?

If your specific ECU part # is currently supported and in the database then we can tune it. If it is not supported then we would have to wait until Uprev starts unlocking new roms again. Could be a month, could be a year. I have no idea.

There are a ton of ECU's already supported, here's a link to the current list for anyone that wants to check it out. https://uprev.com/romlist.php

Obviously the odds are much greater with an older car such as a 2012 than a brand new 2018.

Ok, yeah, my local tune shop already had checked with them and it’s not supported.

Just thought I'd ask this to those who have Uprev: Back when we had the old Cipher Datalogger bundled with Osiris, it had a ECU relearn button for resetting the ECU, vs having to mess with the gas pedal and ignition switch. Once Cipher went away, I was wondering if it can be done with Osiris?

Per UpRev/Joe, just flash your ROM again. DO NOT FLASH BACK TO STOCK AS YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LICENSE! (learned that lesson myself)

I do this from time to time myself as I like to keep my car on its toes lol.

Resetting the ECU can also be done by disconnecting battery and waiting about 5 mins before getting it to connect if you're having trouble with the connection. VK56VD ECUs also are unbrickable now with updates to the software.
