are you rubbing at all with that suspension? did you figure out the tire sizes?adoboboy wrote:Stag setup of 350z Track Rims - Ray Engineering Edition. 8" wide at the front, 8.5" wide at the rear. Strut configuration is GR-2's (yeah....I know) and Eibach Pros.
I don't remember the tire size exactly but I believe they are: Front 225/40-18 and rear: 255/35-18.The tires I used gives the same overall diameter as the stock SE wheels. Stock G35 wheels are too big and screws with your speedo and odo and not to mention your power to the ground and makes ur car look like an SUV.

how does your suspension ride? do you think you could squeeze 235/45/18 or 235/40/18 tires up front?adoboboy wrote:Nope not rubbing at all on the fender. My rear fender was rolled though cuz I used to have 10" wide FN's. But those stock wheels wont' rub on a non-rolled rear fender. I'll eventually have spacers put on the rear to bring them out a bit.
Tires sizes I'm running now...Front: 225/40/18...Rear: 255/35/18.
Thanks! Yeah I just have stance coils...haven't installed my rucas or toe links yet...and no roll. But yeah they're factory z tires which now need replacing!fiznowler wrote:
What all suspension parts did you buy to sit like that. I am curious because we are on a pretty much identicle setup. Are you running factory z tire sizes? You have not rolled correct? Thanks and sorry for all the questions I love your car by the way!
Wow that actually looks good even without coils, which is great because I have 3 track wheels and hopefully I'll get the last one this week and Im running the same set up as you ecept with tokiko blues. clean car btwadoboboy wrote:Stag setup of 350z Track Rims - Ray Engineering Edition. 8" wide at the front, 8.5" wide at the rear. I do run the G35 18inches as well, with KYB AGX and RSR springs right now. But I have a question as to how much clearance you have between the wheel and tires at the front, as my Function and Form would not clear them...vangj wrote:I can finally post mine! Here ya go!

Thanx man. As far as suspension goes, I have Tein Superstreet coilovers, Godspeed ruca's, and polyurethane sway bar bushings. I still want to add Nismo extended studs and 10mm spacers. I dont have many pic's of my car with these rims yet, I need to buy a decent camera. I borrowed a friends to take this shot.fiznowler wrote:What kind of suspension set up are you running car looks good! Do you have any more pics different angles and closeups?
Hey dude, I am running the 350Z Touring V.1's on my '98 SE and they are also 18x8 +30 up front with a 225/45 tire and they do not touch my GR-2's, it's close, but it fits without modification. What suspension setup are you running?hellraiza wrote:I just got the 5-spoke 18's (18x8 +30 225/45 and 18x8.5 +33 245/45) and the fronts didnt fit on my car (97 240sx se), they were hitting the strut. Do they need spacers or are the tires just too tall? any help would be appreciated!
