haha tell me about it I've been lookin all around, I find bits and pieces but never the whole thing. I plan on running a JGY T25 turbo kit http://jgycustoms.com/serg20/turbokits.htm (first kit on the right side) and a JWT ecu to control it all. But I still wonder if this would work because when ever I do research on it everyone is running standalone, and piggy backs. I'd much rather not deal with the programming stuff. I'm only looking at 200whp as my goal. Its already pretty nuts with I/H/E, highport cams, competition clutch stage 2 clutch and JWT ecu cant see the need for much more.

One of the reasons why everyone/people want your 200sx B/C there are becoming a classic/rare Nissan and there are getting harder and harder to find as well in good shape as yours. Just don't give up man stay strong and one day your going to look back and laugh with your friends about the memories of your built thread. Plus there is no rush and your learning along the way. {Gosh!!!} I wish that you lived in FLA that way me and the crew can help and show you where to go and get parts and help you put it together. IMO.. I would try to find some Junkyards and nissan parts in your area and go fishing and try to catch some parts. You might be surprised what you might find as well. Also Google .com and type used nissan parts in California that might work as well... Just keep trying and your doing great so far keep up the good work on your B-14 and at Autozone and in the future I hope you will become manager one day. When I have time later tonight I will also fish on-line to give you some more Info.

Oh I forgot to mention http://www.sentrastuff.com/index.htm email them too as they have more than they have listed and also try ebay I've been finding a lot of my parts for my 200sx SE-R on there, seems like a lot these cars are being parted out now. I know its certainly a sad site that these cars are being parted out but at least we did our part to save a couple pieces of nissans legandary history. Can you believe my buddy was about to sell the 200sx I bought from him to the junk yard!!! WTF!!??

you think mine is in good shape? lol i feel so flattered lol and yes its hard to find these especially the SE-R well atleast in my region.. several reasons is because there all very far and even the local ones no one sells them... ha man im telling you now, if i lived in florida id never leave your garage haha and im such a curious person id ask tons of Qs about our cars you wouldnt know what to do with me lol but man i would love to be in that crew sounds like mad fun yeah ive been to a few junk yards already and 1) its hard to find a 200sx 2) its hard to find parts worth salvaging still on it lol 3) # 1 and 2 combined and there all far from me there is talk of me being promoted either FT autozoner or a FT manager so woot lets hope for the better paying one lol (downside; i have a daily 80 mile round trip drive to work...EVERYDAY)

Ahhh also remember that a lot of regular 98-99 sentra se 2.0 parts are interchangeable with our 200sx's. So that might open up a little more possibilities for ya too.

kool i actually didnt know that well i spoke to my uncle today and apparently i misunderstood him... the plugs are fine they will fit the harness.. the problem is that the harness will not reach every plug since it was meant for the low port,.. That is the main issue. he says we need to change the block??? like i said im no mechanic im learning but is that actually necessary? BTW saw a B14 se-r for sale omw home for $1,700. i couldnt believe it. but it needed a paint job bad! and it was on black steel wheels (no hub caps) still would be nice to salvage that car!

if the plugs fit and the wires are just to short, legthen the wires, we have to do it every time we do an sr swap in a 240. just make sure u do it right(soder and shrink tube) .

yea i just became aware of that a few hours earlier but what my question is, will that effect anything in any way as far as emissions testing goes? to be honest i feel like doing this method rather than changing the block. ive been researching all day it just seems a lil silly doing that but hes helping me so im not gona say anything yet lol the reason im concerned about passing smog, is because california is very stern on it. idk maybe i shouldnt scrutinize every method? but for not gathering all the info i ran into the problem i have now, so im trying not to make any more mistakes and make sure i have all the details

Extending the wire with another piece of wire in the middle will not effect your emissions but like boosted said make sure you do it with solder and shink tube dont trust crimp splice connections. Only way you'd have issues with emissions is if you didnt use all the emissions control hardware EGR valve, o2 sensors etc. You wont be throwing a code for extending wire. Plus thats the only way you'd fail at all is if you were throwing a code with the enigine light they dont use sniffers on cars with OBDII (at least in CT) all they do is plug it into the diagnostic plug under the dash and they're done. Dont ask how I know

true and i guess it is a good tool to have,.. well im trying to get my uncle here to help me with the rest of the car.. sightoday i found out i had water inside my turn signal assemblies lol. i removed them and emptied out the water.. i got pics of that later, also adjusted the fogs as they were a bit crooked and inspected again for signs of rust,.. not many at all. there are a few tiny ones but nothing that i should be concerned about.

good news,.. i went and studied my engine(s) and found where some of the connectors were sposed to go and i connected 3 sensors from what i can see i only have two sensors left to connect.
this sensor up top needs to be connected..
(having trouble posting the pics,.. please follow the links thanks)
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww11 ... 6-1252.jpg
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww11 ... 3-1533.jpg
and i found the connector a bit hard to see in this pic..
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww11 ... 6-1252.jpg
its sitting behind the egr valve a lil low down there,... at first i believed this was one i was going to have to splice. but i dont necessarily have to, the sensor is mounted on a small rail, i can remove it and connect it. but im not sure if its best to leave it up top? which would mean splicing the the connector,. or just removing it from that rail and connecting it like that,.. this would mean it would just be hanging (doesnt seem to bother me much but that shouldnt be a problem rite?)

this is the connector that had me so confused,.. i had no clue where it went. but i think ive found it,. this one is under the car
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww11 ... 3-1445.jpg
and i believe it goes to the sensor being pointed at in this picture
http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww11 ... 3-1533.jpg
the sensor is 2 prong and the connector is meant to connect to a 2 prong type sensor. after looking at the old engine im sure these two are a pair. so i think this is the only wire i might end up splicing.

i bought a soldering iron, the soldering metal stuff,. shrink tube,.. the beers 8-) and then it dawned on me,...... what kind of wire do i use???? this is all i need now, i dont know what kind of wire to buy. i went to a mechanic shop and they either didnt want to tell me or really had no clue,. any way anyone know what KIND/TYPE of wire i need that im sure i could probably buy like at home depot or something..
thanks guys

btw i dont know why the pics are so small they are much bigger on my facebook srry

what do you mean where have i been? i have been working long hours really far away so it keeps me busy,.. i finally finished wiring the harness i just need a rad,.. my fans are a pretty tight fit now for some reason, so soon after im gona buy slim fans and push fit them. im almost done its just $$ issues now. i cant find good performance rads for cheap anywhere so ima just buy one from autozone for now. itll be around $100.00 so it aint to bad for a stock rad.
