Uneven Tire Wear

I've got a 98 Q45 with 73k miles. Just noticed that its time for new tires. On closer inspection, I noticed that both the inside and outside of the tires are worn much more than the center. The tire on the car when I bought it (at 37k) exhibited the same wear characteristics. I had a wheel alignment done when I bought new tires.

Is this normal or do I have an alignment problem?

That is usually an indication of low tire pressure.

Run those tires at about 30-35 psi, assuming the max sidewall pressure is about 46.... Thats what I run my tires at!
