Undercoat paint job idea.

Has anyone out there ever used undercoat to texture there cars paint job, if so what kind did you use?

I've seen it done before but I'm not sure how to go about doing it?

i undercoated the underside of both of my cars with truck bed liner

good cost effective protection

it's ugly, heavy and stays soft

you'd be better off just using a good automootive grade sealing primer, you can even get ti tinted if you like

I'm just gonna stick with primer and clearcoat.
