I had my muffler apex 3" inlet attached to some 2.5" piping (wait tino why 2.5?) well the all-knowing "muffler master" told me it would kill my gas mileage cause back problems idk... and went on and on and I just tuned him out and said ok 2.5. From there he argued with me to go with 2 1/4 but I got him to do 2.5. So 215 beans later it looks pretty good. But the hanger welded to the muffler is rusting and now the muffler is. So am I ****ed?

2) Anyone remove entirely their rear wiper? s13.

I dont know about your first question, but I have removed my rear wiper, its a pretty simple job. First, unbolt the wiper arm from the motor and pull it off. This is done by flipping up the bolt cover. Second, pop out the fasteners that hold the carpet board to the underside of the hatch. Now, IIRC, its just three bolts and a wire harness and its out. Of course, you will need to plug the hole somehow.

IMO s13's look alot better without the wiper. It smoothes out the body lines a lot.

If you use RainX on the rear window every couple weeks or so, you wont have a problem. Instead of bondo, a cheap/easy plug can be found at any auto parts supply store. Find a rubber plug that will be almost flush and is the same size as the hole. it wont look as good, but will be cheaper than bondo and paint.

i wanna say ur exhaust guy is full of ****. i have a N/A KA (dreams of turbo) w/ 2.5" piping welded onto a 2.5" muffler and i swear after it was done i saw an improvement in fuel economy. On the interstate it seems i'm 500rpm-ish lower than i used to be. It does take a 'lil more to get her rolling, but nothing drastic, and definitely nothing so drastic it negates the drop in rpm when u get rolling.

Yea but hes saying 3 would cause like 503 problems. I still thinks hes full of **** just cause I don't like him. Also is there rust where your hanger is welded on to the muffler.

Ive taken out my rear wiper. IMO it looks a hell of alot better. I will be putting a small peice of steel or something and getting it painted.

i just removed my rear wiper arm today (because the motor stopped working) and i grabbed a plug from my spare tire compartment. not the small plug in the compartment, but just above the compartment, there are four plugs (two on either side of ccar) that will fit perfectly onto the opening. it isnt flush to the hatch but its free and the plug that i took seemed to only cover a bolt under it. i think my s13 looks a lot better without it :chainsaw (i mean chainsaw the wiper arm, not anybody in particular, well maybe bin laden)
