Twin Turbo

I haven't read anything about it on this forum. But I was just wondering if your could do a twin torbo on an SR20.

You could however you would need special manifolds and very very small turbos as you would be utilizing only 1/2 the engines exhaust to spool the turbo. What you would end up with is alot of lag and peak hp numbers similar to the single turbo but you will most likely gain torque over the single turbo. However you can plump a sequential turbo set up that would spool the primary turbo soon and build low boost then at a set RPM range engage the secondary turbo and build even more boost. This is how RX7 TTs work.

Ahhh…. Sequential twin turbo, didn’t we have this discussion, Nismo_Freak? Wasn’t it about the Subaru TT engine…… and it had the same peak HP as the single turbo version of the same engine. The only possible gain might be a broader range of torque throughout the RPM map.

Maybe it was someone elseI talked to about this..... I dunno
