the headrests are just big enough to fit the displays in them and you can easily fit the dvd player under the seats... i have the in dash and i like it a lot but i think i might do the headrest monitors as welloak1now wrote:hey guys just wondering if anyone has put a flip down or headrest tvs in their versa? i would go with a in dash but its too distracting for me what would be the best way to go its for my 2 year old.

It's illegal for an in-dash DVD player to show video while a vehicle's parking brake is disengaged (they put a wire to the brake switch to determine when it is or isn't). Hence, most in-dash units have a "multi-zone" control. You can have an in-dash DVD player, run the outputs to headrest monitors, and your kid can watch while you drive, nothing will display on your screen.oak1now wrote:hey guys just wondering if anyone has put a flip down or headrest tvs in their versa? i would go with a in dash but its too distracting for me what would be the best way to go its for my 2 year old.
That's what we do. We can move it from car to car or from the second to the third row of seats in our Rendezvous. And leave it locked up at home most of the time.biggie wrote:May just want to look into the portable DVD systems that can attach/hang onto the headrest. That way you can remove them from the car when not needed and have less risk of a break-in.
