turning off active noise cancelation

What exactly is active noise cancellation? Does that have to do with Bluetooth or the engine noise?

It picks up the road noise and other noises and trying to cancel them out. My system when I get up to about 70 on certain concrete interstates make a hi pitched sound. I had the dealer fix my speaker rattle in my front door and since then it has made this odd noise. It has to be a certain speed and certain road noise for it to do it but it is getting bad at this point. Think of Bose noise cancelling head phones..... Same thing.
