Turn Signals Dont Work & All power wont turn off.

ok so i have a 90 s13 hatch with a ka24de swap.

My first issue is that my turn signals don't work. They dont even show up on the indicators when switched. My hazards work and all of the bulbs are good so im not sure what its wrong.

My second issue is that even with the key turn to off and key out i still have power to basically everything. the only thing that i know turns off is my stereo.

Everything in the engine bay still has power. ecu has power as well as the dummy lights in the cluster. the only way to actually get all of it to shut off is buy disconnecting the battery of course or pulling either the egi or egi pump relays. I have checked all fuses and they were all fine.

I'm not sure if the two problems relate in anyway but this whole thing started a little prior to me starting the swap. it was fine before hand but was sitting for some time. about 4 months.

it could be the actual turn signal switch. borrow a friends (240sx) turn signal switch and try it on yours.

for the second problem, i'm stumped
it could possibly be your ignition switch maybe?

Cold be the ignition relay or the switch, I'd guess relay first.

Ok so my turn signals work now out of no where. Not sure what happened but I'm fine with that for now lol.

But power still won't shut off. If I unplug the ecu it all shuts off as it should. I'm not sure if that narrows down anything.

i have a similar problem, 93 s13 vert, auto-manual swap, rb20det swap.

i pulled the motor out of my old vert (94) and put it in the new one, my old vert didnt have this problem so im thinking its something particular to the chassis. ive tried 3 different column light switches, dash and tails stay on as well as sidemarkers, when i turn 1 click for parking/sidemarkers the dash gets brighter. The other problem is, it may be unrelated but my headlights dont go down, the button will make them go up, turning the lights on make them go up, but they will not go down. halp

if the switch for the pop-ups (just to put them up and down, no lights) isnt hooked up the lights wont go back down when you use the headlight switch.
