I have a guy locally that has a Turbonetics 60-1 Turbo. I went on their site last night and there are about four different ones (all are 60-1). His price is pretty good- although I would need to rebuild it with a new shaft/wheel/bearing. Anyways, I am wondering your thoughts on this thing and how it would hold up on a CA application.

If it's already damaged, just buy a new one. If you're not going to spend the money on upgraded components, leave the 60-1 alone and go find a milder hairdryer that would fit your particular application.

What are your power goals? That thing is a beast..

And like said above, unless you want to go the whole 9 yards on that turbo rebuild, I'd probably just get a new one, unless the price is right

I think I will just go the more feasible route- T28 (hopefully ball-bearing). Anyone have one? Let me know if you have any ideas. I saw on here that someone (gabby) picked one up for $45.
