OK this is by far the funniest/ricerest thing ever... So i just got back from FL. and had to take my car out for a spin. I was driving down our main road when this P.O.S. truck pulled up next to me. The driver was lookin like a hard a**, leaning to the left like a wanna B thug. Anyways i was looking at this rusted tin can and saw TURBO emblem on the side of the truck. So we get to this light and im like " is that thing really charged?" he said yupe. So of course me knowing for a fact that thing isnt charged b/c i didnt hear any wistle or blowoff or anything cept a pissed off tin can for an exhaust. So he said you sure? i was like yupe.... so light turn green and i slowly get on it. Well i whooped his *** and left him in a heart beat. He pulls back up to me and said hes clutch slipped. Well he pulled off again and i noticed that the shifts were to close together for it to be a standard... After that i was embarrassed to be on the same road as him.. WHAT A LOSER! im purposely goin to drive around tomorow tell i find his car and snap some shots of this thing.... This makes the blue 350z "supercharged" guy look like Marco Andretti.... just thought id share this story with yall.. i cant get it outa my mind how some ppl are so ignorant

If a car is automatic you won't hear a blowoff because the only time the valve opens is when you let off the gas, which happens to be when you shift. Since you don't have this with an automatic, no noise. Also you don't HAVE to run a blowoff valve, it's just a huge major safety thing. Just a heads up so you don't get smoked by a boosted automatic something

i ran a TT Z32 yesterday at a stop light and smoked him.... <what i didn't say in the first sentence was that its beat up, burning oil, and it bothered me he was running the car that hard in the condition it was in.... But anyway, a funny thing like that happened to me the other day... This kid in a civic, with a fart can and some chrome wheels pulled up next to me at a light - he asked what kinda car i had.... ..... i would honestly think that someone his age, with a bit of car enthusiast in him of some sort would know what a 350Z is by 2008.... it was kinda funny... I gave him a look like "WTF?" when he first asked, then he asked again and i'm thinking OMG he's serious, so i told him.

nope. he was just trying to make conversation, a kid with a civic dosen't know what a 350z is after 5 years of production? ?

He was hoping that if he got in your good graces you might just let him drive your car.

ORRRRR you don't act like that because it's not worth wasting the gas on doing a RICER flyby to a civic. Maturity son.

welcome to nico. cool about the truck. post pics of the truck and the Z when you get them. strange that you have a Z33 then bought and fixed up a 22 year old toyota truck, but still don't have pictures of your Z, and that you just started with your Z and already got and built a truck, so that must have all been done within the past couple of days and this is a HUGE run-on sentence so. <-period.

lol

I used to have one and it didn't make a blow off noise. Well, it, did, but it was VERY faint. They don't run very much PSI...

actually the truck is an 86 my first vehicle ever. Handed down to me it has alot done to it i'm installing a tial bov in a few days, but stock it only runs like 6psi so no bov valve or intercooler. I put a larger turbo and am running 15-20psi right now because it has very low compression 7.25-1 and then just about two years ago i purchased my first car a z33 well thats what i meant to say anyway the truck is slower than my car but still fast for a little old truck, hey it is single cam and only has eight valves, its my money pit

why are you so proud you beat a n/a toyota truck. they aren't fast. i mean. chances are it was the 4, so congrats dude. i guess. is there any point to this thread?

my truck doesn't say turbo, or have a blow off valve, and it's an automatic. it does have a pretty loud whistle at 30 psi though. we should race.

dude did i say i was proud to beat him? no... if someone asks to race no matter what it looks like i might say yes... cause i have seen some POS things in my life that were quick... my point on this thread was just to share a story.. like most friendly ppl on here... and it might have been charged but the way it sounded and looked was just aweful... Maybe youll b the first *** hole ill say no to a race.... and if you read i did know they came turbo, just he was tryin to make it look like he had put a kit in and put alot of money in to it... i dont get ppl like u... just a d!ck i guess...
