Hey guys, I'm in the middle of my turbo timer install, and I have the harness hooked up to the ignition switch but now I need to connect the timer to the parking brake sensor. I have been using this write-up...

...but I'm a very visual person, and the pictures in this page do not work. Also I'm wonder what the best place to "ground" the timer would be, somewhere under the dash obviously, because the wire is not that long. Also, there is a green, red, and white wire that I'm not sure what they go to, any ideas? Here's a pic...

Got it all hooked up, start the car, let it warm up, then I turn the key to shut it off...and the car shuts off, doesn't continue to idle. The timer is lit up and says "30 sec" but when I turn the car off, it turns off as well. What did I do wrong? Are those green, red, and white wires in the picture I posted supposed to connect to something, because none of the write-ups nor the instructions said anything about them....

Problem fixed! The splice connector wasn't fully connected to one of the parking brake wires. Yay for my first wiring job! lol

I haven't really played around too much with it, but I believe there is just an "OFF" setting. Mine is the HKS Type-0 so it just has the 30 sec and 1 minute timers, and then a battery voltage meter and then I believe "OFF" just makes the screen blank.

The install was actually quite easy once I figured it out. The hardest part is taking apart the interior pieces to GET to the wires you need lol

You can always put the brake handle down and the car will shut off...

Turbo timers keep the car running to cycle oil and coolant through the car to cool the turbo/s so oil doesn't make deposits inside the turbo/s causing premature wear and failures very nice on hot days especially if you've been hard on the gas
