Ok, I was just trying to install my new blitz turbo timer and came across a problem I didn't expect. The blitz wiring harness DOESN'T FIT!

I don't know exactly why I am posting a thread about this, but I did try searching for anyone who has had the same experience. I found nothing. I suppose that I could be doing something wrong, but there isn’t much to a wiring harness (that is the point after all).

I guess I am just venting some frustration here. Sorry. Maybe this could serve as some sort of warning, it would be just as easy to tap into the wires than it is to try and fabricate this thing to fit. (save yourself some money)

If you think I am doing something wrong please tell me.

Please elaborate and be more specific. I assume you are referring to an intermediate harness. But does it look like it should fit and just doesn't want to go in all the way? Or is does it look like the wrong harness? More info would be helpful as it is a bit hard to speculate with just the fact that it doesn't fit...

This is the way I heard it. Blitz never made a wiring harness for the 240sx because it doesn't have a turbo on it. on the one blitz makes(for the silvia, NS-01) there are only five wire connections on either end. the factory plug in the 240 has six. as far as i can tell the missing one is the one for the starter. (because after a lot of cutting on the plastic all the accessories worked with the key, but the starter never engaged) i can only guess that the silvias had a start button of some kind in another location, instead of starting with the key. does anybody know if this is true or not?
