This is just an informative thread for those who are going around spreading the desease of misinformation.

The log style manifold, great manifold. Produces large hp gains with the right turbo. Can be installed on just about anything and is really cheap. HKS and Greddy use log style manifolds with some kits. They are not bad!!!!! You don't have to have equal length to make power. To be honest, I don't think 80% of you guys will get to the point where you even need an equal length.Unless the runners are exactly, or damn close to, equal length, you lose the advantage over a log style anyway. Most of the manifolds available are simply stainless tubular mani's, not actually equal length.

Thank you, I agree completely. The only thing that most of the "equal length" manifolds out there offer for me (personally) is how pretty they look.Glance at my home page and you will see my car isn't about pretty. Its about cheap.:-)and log style manifolds do the trick, and do it well.Who was it who was hitting 430 rwhp with a JGS log?

Dunno who was hitting those numbers. I do agree that the stainless tubular mani's are very attractive. I just hate people getting told that logs are a bad choice.

I know this sounds really simple, but as long as the exhaust gas gets to the turbine, the manifold did its job. If I had the money to spend, sure I'd love a beautiful stainless equal length, but for the additional cost, a equal length manifold just isnt worth it to me.

my problem comes with that i just found that a turbo manifold (or any manifold for that matter) intended for the DE, will not work on the E??? and no one has ever mentioned that to me before. maybe i can get the one i think Nismo freak was talking about? or the realnissan one, and you can design a flange for me if i get your kit WD?

flanges for the E and DE are nothing alike.

I'm gonna be fabbing both the E and DE manifolds using stainless steel :)

4-1 unless you got a lot of room for some reason

Try to keep this on topic fella's. I want this to be informational, not conversational.
