I just got a kit and I don't want to install it until I get someone else opinion on what other components I need for the kit like boost controllers and stuff like that and please recommend the exact name of the products not just the general name and could you recommend where I should order them from.

The kit Includes ~ • TURBO - .50 .70 VBAND STAGE IV V-BAND CLAMP • (1) 90 DEGREE AND 45 DEGREE PIPE SET • (1) 50MM BLOW OFF VALVE• (1) CA18DET TOP MOUNT MANIFOLD • (1) 40MM WASTEGATE • (1) 600 X 300 X 76 MM INTERCOOLER• Silicone boots Clamps and gaskets

i have installed a t3/t4 in a type r integra so i have some knowledge but i feel that i don't have as much experince as most people on this forum has on working on this engine so im looking to hear from the experinced ca18det tuners. Please help

The intercooler is good, the wastegate is good, the manifold is junk, the BOV is good, and that turbo is the wrong application for the CA. You will experience lag out the yang........... A decent deal for what you paid for it, but still it has it's issues. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

You're right, stock fuel system will result in some busted pistons.

Also I want to know if this turbo is any good and what is the best range of boost this turbo should run. Like I know you wouldn’t buy a t70 and only run 5psi because it’s better to get a t25 if you want to run 5psi because it has less lag. I want to run 10psi when driving and 15psi when racing so I want to know if this t70 can work or should I get a different turbo to run that psi.

I got this kit from ssautochrome for $800 has anyone else used this kit and did you exp-erince any problems or was dissipointed in components of the kit?

So what turbo would you recommend to run 15psi.

ssautochrom turbos have had a bad history.. (housing cracking and falling off).. the turbos junk.. a few people have taken emt o turbo shops to see if there any good, and the people at the shops said they are so out of specs and crap.. some people have had compresser wheels grinding the housing on a brand new unit.. id either sell the turbo or something and get a t28 off a s14 or gtir... those 2 will perform well for ur goals and lag wont be no where near as bad as that t70.. even a red top t25 wouldnt be too bad.. its good for what 220whp...??

I say give it a swing just to see what you're working with. And you do not run a turbo like the one you have at 10psi, you would hate it because it will take too long to spool to that pist (5000ish rpm). Just boost the hell out of it and junk or try and pawn it off on someone. If you look at ebay, you'll see a lot of people trying to get rid of those turbos that came in kits similar to yours.

Please be more specific like do you mean just some bigger injectors and if so what size.

I'd get some DSM injectors, a bigger MAFS(Z32 is the most commoo), a ROM tune, and SAFC-II.

That turbo would be perfect for 15psi.

First of all, what your goals? You've already spent some money, so you may as well learn about what you spent your money on, The turbo in question is good, but will give you some lag as well, although it is a ballbearing unit.
