I am using the stock MAF and put it at the inlet compressor, my car is almost done and ready to start it up soon, i still have question about the tuning with the E-manage, I'm worry if the stock MAF can't read the boost at 8psi, and I'm not sure what's the range of the fuel map from a Stock ECU? all i know is , when I see the MAF read at 4.9v on my E-manage tools(on my laptop) , I will be in danager, so what if it's over 5v? should I manual adjust the stock Fuel map thru the E-manage? should I put the MAF after the compressor outlet just for tuneing? what did everyone do when they just start the car?I am asking who those have the same setup as mineT3FMUE-manage370ccstock MAF

I am a beginner of doing this project, I want to be safe? the worse I can do is buy a 300zx MAF instead, right?

I custom my own intercooler piping, I almost get it done, but in the OEM stock intake , there are 3 hoses/lines attached to the intake, I know one is the vavle cover i can just put a breather there, and there's one small line that goes somewhere , i am not sure if I need that, and the last one , that's goes to the back of the intake manifold, I have no clue what that is, I heard it is relate to EGR? however, if I need those piping? where should I put them? before or after the compreesor? and what did yo do to make a custom intercooler piping to fit those small outlet for the line?

You won't hit 8PSI when you first start the car. So start it up, don't worry. Just tested out a bit by revving it up a few times an keeping an eye on your AF. A T3 at 8PSi shouldn't be a problem for the stock MAF, but when doing some WOT runs make sure to keep an eye on the MAF voltage to make sure it doesn't run over 5V.

The 3 hoses that go to the intake are:

1 - valve cover breather: yep a small filter can do the trick or vent it before the compressor WITH an oil catch can to be safe2 - EGR: if keeping the EGR system (I did) route to before compressor3 - Idle relays: some people put it before compressor, I put it before TB

the idle relay, (if thats the larger tube that comes out by the throttle body) should be after compressor, anywhere on the pressure side of the turbo. if not then you will leak a little everytime you boost.

Yep... that's what my mechanic told so we put that hose after the compressor. But I have seen some people running it otherwise... I think one of them was the XS kit.

I won't pass judgement until I figure out what my idle problem is :rolleyes, hey it could be the way the idle relay is connected :D
