Hey guys, so I've tried a couple of glue options from the local parts store to glue the ttop cover attachment points back to the glass (the ones that are in the interior) and living in Florida, the heat keeps melting the glue. What are you guys having success with?

Hey Dave, long time no-see!
Hope the Z is still treating you well.

I haven't done this, but I'd look at one of the epoxy kits that you can get very reasonably at home supply stores in the paint department, adhesives... and probably use a plastic epoxy that also will stick to glass and the plastic mount clip, just check the list of items each product works with. I used a plastic version for my jspec repairs and the stuff is legit, still holding years later and after several removals and twisting, etc.
Epoxy is one of the strongest glues known, a permanent hard set glue that won't be affected by heat under 200 degrees in most cases. Many of the kits come with the self-mixing tips which are the best version- handy since you'll usually use very little each time and the further potential uses are huge. JB Weld is also pretty good for more heated/abused conditions such as under-hood, body, etc. and IIRC also has several types/grades.

Thanks man! Yeah, good to be back around... started a couple new businesses last year, so the Z didn't get much love. This summer, she is getting lots of attention :D
