Just want to know the cost. Not doing anything right now, just want to know for reference (throw in any additional items I might need and the car is an auto hence the paddle shift).

jdm engine, although can be problimatic, is around 1500$ on ebay, and various jdm engine sites, plus the front clip which will have the radiator mouns, and intercooler mounts is around the same price, since you want paddles, auto trans is your best bet

TT swap if you do it yourself will cost 5-10k, plus about a month of your time.

If you are going to want paddle shifters, your best bet is to mate a 350z auto to the engine, use the tcu and steering wheel from a 350z. That may cost you about 2500.

So basically what evildky said, more than the car is worth. ALl is dependent on what its worth to you or how much you want to put into the car.

It would be easier to use the Z32 auto, it's electronically controlled you'd just have to source the shifters then figure out how to mount them in a z32 then get them to send the correct signals to the trans. it would be cheaper to by an auto z33 and just drive that.
