Trying to put on some new rims

I got some rims "new" to me they are OZ f1 17" and they are white. Any way I'll get pics up as soon I get them on.

But I tried putting them on the other day and they aligned perfectly on the bolts my only concern is that they dont push back all the way, there is like an inch gap. I have a buddy who told me on his 350z there is a screw-like object that needs be removed with an allen wrench. I dont remember seeing this on my V. Does anyone know about this?

Yo don't have to remove anything. Did the wheels come with hub centric rings?

Im guessing not, not to sure what does are, I bought the rims off some guy on craigslist.

Are those rings something you can pick up and add them on or do the rims have to made with them already?

Okay so I pulled my tire off today and this what I noticed there are the four lugs and one bigger "lug" in the center of the four. And on the center lug there is a black metal piece that on the top of it its a loop and the end of its bent and looks like it could be un-bent and removed.

And I have confirmed that this is causing the gap for my aftermarket wheels,does anyone know if the metal piece is removable? And is it safe to do so?

DONT remove that center nut. it should be what holds your brake disk to your axle. so DONT remove nut. By the way,the "wire" in the middel is a cotter pin & it keeps the nut in place,so DONT remove that either.
