I do not know a lot about HIDs so I wanted to ask people for their opinions on what they have on at the moment. Also if you can tell me where you got them from and roughly how much? Does the complete kit come with everything I need to install them and stuff? Thanks.

purchased h11 bulb hid kit 3k from http://www.ddmtuning.com

the raptor v2 hid kit because it was less expensive than the ddm brand... but holy shmoly the fogs are now as bright as the light of the sun!im happy with my purchase... we will see how they hold up

the kit price and shipping was $44 total. cant beat that.. and its SIMPLE plug and play... installed thru the wheel wells... i didnt even use zipties or the double sided tape (squares) they provided... i just went to home depot and purchased super heavy duty double sided tape thats good for outdoor and indoor use which should hold up well ... i mounted it to a nice flat surface on the black frame -not sure if it was the frame but itwas black lol

now im wondering if i can just simply replace the factory hid bulbs for my low beams and get the same color 3k... for added light output on my headlights

Which wattage did you purchase and has anyone had issues with fuses blowing?

Any need for the error code eliminator they offer?

dude... the yellow doesnt shine really more than 10 feet in front of the car... past 10 feet it looks like just like my headlights... but they are putting more lightoutput based on how type of bulb - the bulb in my lowbeams when i look at it closely looks like half of the bulb itself is covered and there is a reflector thing in front of the low beam like a helmut or cap thats plated in chrome somethin... so i figure if i put a ddm bulb (same size as the lowbeam oem) it might let more light shine i dunno... i cant explain it im so tired lol

the error code eliminator i believe is only for the bmw kits... and u dont need to go 55w for the foglights.. because the housing for the fog light is much smaller than the headlight... your gonna have a lot of heat output from the 55w bulb and u dont wanna have issues with ur foglight housing melting or something

Im talking regular headlights. Which wattage did you buy? I would like to guy 55W if its not going to blow fuses and cause issues.
