Trouble shoot 98 Infiniti i30

Replaced knock sensor on 98infinitii30 after trouble code po 325 came up also pig tailed wire and connector,code doesn't show no more but car still dies randomly after running to normal temp. No trouble lights on dash. Any help anyone

Knock sensor failure will not normally cause the engine to shut down... you'll just notice reduced performance and lower MPG numbers.

I don't have much for you in terms of a reason for the random shut down. I would start by wiggling wiring harnsses and connectors under the hood to see if you notice a change in idle speed. It might be helpful to browse your car's factory service manual - available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM.
