Was out at French Lick casino Saturday and had my butt handed to me

I justify my gamb|ing like this. David and I don't have a cabin on a lake, a boat, a motorhome and don't belong to a country club. We both love to gamble. We get a free suite, dinner at the steak house, breakfast and numerous tasty adult beverages. Heck, they gave us courtside tickets to the Grizzlies for this Friday night. Yes, we lose a lot of money but we have a lot of fun.



Every once in a blue moon we take some of THEIR money home.

I had promised my mother that I would go with her so that was that. The only time I was actually starting to recoup losses was when they wanted to go to lunch.....after lunch any luck I had was long gone.

Yup. That crap happens all the time. We went to the steakhouse and ate @ 9:30. I just went back to the room after that. I knew that streak couldn't last.

Do you play machines or table games?

I safely made it back to Florida. Went to the NASCAR race and other than that we pretty much drink till 7am every night. Went to all of the major casinos. Lost my shirt but I had one really good win. $250 on a hard 8 bet made my night. Paid 10x odds. I should've walked away then but I'm an idiot.

Planet Hollywood is our favorite. Did pretty good there last August.

I play Texas Hold'um at times but mainly Let it Ride or Black Jack. Otherwise I play slots.

You don't like video p0ker? A skilled vp player has a little more advantage over the house than a slot player. I love it.

thats why i love craps. there alot more fellowship at the table because you do not necessarily have to have the luck to win money.
