transmission service kit

Should I order the transmission service kit from Scottsdale or buy from Advance auto parts?

The part number from Advance auto is Beck/Arnley 0440238. The reason I want to buy from Advance auto because their kit includes the filter. The transmission service kit from Scottsdale does not contains the filter.

are you sure joe's kit doesn't include the filter??????? i ordered mine about 6 months ago from scottsdale and the kit had the gasket, the filter, and some transguard. i'd check again, and go with joe's oem parts.

Ive thought about the same thing.... Joes kit is $20 more expensive....

IMO, it doesnt matter what you use as long as it gets replaced timely.... Im sure that filter from advance is just as good...

I called the Infiniti dealer and asked for the transmission service kit, and the guy said that the kit does not include a filter.

Maybe that guy does not know or Scottsdale sells a different transmission service kit.

But if you guys said that Joe's kit includes a filter, then I will order one from Joe.

You can order everything seperately, but he does sell a kit..... I think its like $40
