Transmission Fluid and programs to read error codes

Hey everyone i have a 300zx 2+2 tt and it has its issues but my car tends to have problems shifting and throws me into another gear when driving in the city when speeds are lower than 80kms. When driving 80kms plus the shifting seems to be perfect. What i would like to do is flush out the ATF and i was wondering what would be the best automatic trans fluid for my car. i'm looking at purchasing Redline D4 ATF http://ztune.ca/product.aspx?p...0e495 would that be wise? And also i was looking for a software program to read error codes would conzult free do the job or is there other programs best suited?
