Completed 3 fluid changes today on the (relatively) new ride. 65k miles and I bought it ~2k miles ago. Oil, filter, air filters, micro filter have already been done. Coolant, belt, brake flush and probably pads should be my only remaining jobs to follow in the next few months. May take that long to find the right brand as I have the infamous squeakage. :) I don't see any speedbleeders for the 2008 G, so I'll be looking for a solution on that one as well. If they only built a device with an actuator connected to the brake arm and made it work using a wireless remote....

transmission
Seemed to look ok running out but the picture of it in the pan looks pretty bad. Used about 4qt of OEM 75W-85 PN 999MP-MTF00P. Used existing washer/gaskets.

Rear Diff
Again, looked ok visually but not so much in the pan. But the second pic that used the flash makes the fluid look black so that may have something to do with it. That or the cheap camera phone.
There was some build up on the magnet of the drain plug. Used about 2.5qt of OEM (Penzoil) 80W-90 PN 999MP-XG000PZ. Used existing washer/gaskets.

Clutch
Looked quite brown and did the suction/refill method as provided by Joe (everyone-change-your-clutch-fluid-t259214.html). I didn't see much of a difference after the 4th change. I'll check it again after a week or two of daily driving.

im at 62k on my 2010 G37x... its about time for my AWD transfer case and my rear Diff to be changed. Been debating on paying for it to be done or doing it my self. You have futher motivated me to do it my self LOL

How much for the diff Fluid? i believe my AWD transfer case uses simular fliud as the rear diff, got to look it up.

I think it was about $5/bottle from Joe @ IOS (part# is above and should give you a quote on the IOS website - it's just Penzoil gear oil). It was a pretty easy job. Just had to jack the rear end up enough to allow room for the drain pan under the exhaust pipes, and the suction pump I had for pumping in the new fluid didn't actually screw on to the new bottle. It worked, I just had to be careful.

Oh, and be sure you have a 10mm hex wrench before you start. I found out that I didn't have one once I got under there - only went up to 8mm. Rrrrrgh. Was able to use a standard though (3/8" or something). A bit sloppy, but it worked on both the transmission and diff.
