Trans/clutch noise

I've bin noticing a noise from trans area latley that's bin getting worse I have now parked my Nissan just wondering if anyone knows if these 84 4x4s have common trans problems? Or have any idea what I could be dealing with I seen a couple videos on YouTube with basically the same noise problem did some research but can't seem to find an answer!
I know I should just take it in and have it checked but I almost want to just get a rebuilt one and just swap it,where can I find a trans for this truck lease let me know if you do my truck is a 84 720 2.4l 4x4

Need more information. Is the noise happening while driving or while stopped? Does it go away if you push the clutch pedal in or is there no change?

The noise is constent stopping driving all the time aslong as it's in gear and doesn't change if clutch is in of out
I heard somthing about these trucks go though output bearings but wouldn't the noise stop or soften when clutching?

Could be input shaft related since the noise happens all the time. Could be a pilot bushing that has crapped on you. Could also be a bad throw out bearing that is beyond bad.
