looking to trade my girl in for a new project. my next car has to be a 4door, sports car from the list here but strickly to modify for my needs hahaha, and the backseats for my baby girl coming soon. the audio/vw share the same engine and for the a4 quattro i wouldstart off by buyying a big turbo kit pumping 450 crank and with a tune hahaha a good 400 plus whp, same goes for the passat. mind you guys i already have a pool of money strickly for mods on the next car. the tl is a great car too but it will be all motor with the basics, i/e/headers and pulleys maybe an ecu stuff like that..input please disregarding maintance cost lol

aww =( no more altima. I know you said from the list, but why not an evo? I saw a modified evo in ocean city with a baby seat in the back. Had to smile at that

What is your price range? The 2010 S4 would be an awesome project car. 400 at the crank with only a chip. Do more motor mods (pulley, headers, intake, intercooler) and you're solid.

get a turbo, evo or sti are great turbo cars, only downfall is it would be hard to find one used that wasn't beat on.

but out of the list i would go with the 07 A4, my friend has it and it is so nice.

Aesthetically I like the Acura the best, but I think the Audi would be the best choice out of the three. But Subi's are four door, and beautiful

I agree with the Audi. The A4 2.0t can be twin turboed too

I loved my Audi, it was a tank but the AWD is just pure awesome! However I do not miss all the preventative maintenance / maintenance nightmares that come with them. The upkeep is just brutal.

I've been looking at a 335i as well. Great cars with great potential. I like the VW Jetta GLI Wolfsburg Edition

Something else to consider especially if you are thinking of going German, if you do any work on the car yourself its almost impossible to find parts/fluids from places other than the dealer or online. So if there isn't a vw or audi dealer nearby it makes things even more annoying. Especially since you can't buy audi parts at a vw dealer, or vice/versa. BMW dealers are far more common around here than Audi is.

I moved to Howard County =P. The roads in beltsville sucked really badly. I stalled out a lot on the hills on rt. 1 when I first got the car..lol

My vote is for the Audi. The 2.0T is a beast of a little engine, but the available 3.2 is sooooo smooth! My vote is actually for an A3...I love 'em!

Whatever floats your boat man. If it were my project, I'd stay the hell away from anything having to do with VW/Audi. I have zero faith in their products in any category having to do with durability or longevity. They are gorgeous though. (Yes I've owned one)

I'm with the Subaru/Mitsu guys on this one. But I can understand if you're looking for something a bit more upscale looking (touching the luxury edge of things), but given my aversion to Audi products, the closest thing I can think of is BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS.

You could always twin turbo a g37s sedan too. Happy huntings!

Yup..get the house first. Buy something that will appreciate in value..not depreciate.

My friend has an A3 6mt with an S3 engine shipped directly from Germany and that thing is quick. I didn't believe that it had an S3 engine until I drove his rental A3 and it was much slower then his his. I would go w/ the A4 tho...Thats my next car, or a beemer.
