Thanks man, I'll add some air to get them to 36 PSI and give it a try!djtorello wrote:your problem is the air pressure is low. The sensors are set at 36. Bring up your air pressure just a tad, and the light will turn off.
How do you register the new sensors? Is this something the dealer does? Thanks.Faja wrote:Hello Gforever, I believe you have to register the new sensors with the computer for the light to go off.
Yes, dealer has the "magic wand"!!gforever wrote:

boo I was going to ask SEARS to take old TPMS sensors off my stock wheels and put them on my new aftermarket wheels. Should I do that still?Faja wrote:

I think the Sears option would be better. You don't change tires twice a year like we do here so if they can fit into your new wheels with no issues then I would do that.bakerboard wrote:

Or would it be safer to go to the stealership and have them install new TPMS sensors and wave the magic wand?
Got the 18" tires to be 36PSI each but the light is still on.... The sticker on the driver side says that it should be 33PSI for my stock 16" tires. Should I bring up the PSI a little more or just wait until my next oil change (still got over 1000 miles to go...) to have the dealer reset the TPMS?djtorello wrote:your problem is the air pressure is low.
