The TBDM guys are cool. A buddy of mine introduced me to them about 4 years ago. He is really good friends with the drummer they had at the time.

I have an amendment to my list. Take off the JFAC guys and put in Thomas Erak from The Fall of Troy and Adam D. from Killswitch Engage.

You're preaching to the choir buddy. Malmsteen is one of the guitarists who got me into the whole neo-classical thing, along with Jason Becker and Marty Friedman. Steve Vai is a great guitarist, along with everyone else on the G3 tour.

Some of these players are really currently listed as amongst the best in the world for what they do and some are up and comers. Shaun hopper is an old friend of mine and you should buy his album to hear some sick tunes.

Tommy Emmanuel- remember this is NOT played with loops and pedals, its all Tommyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v...lated

Don Rosshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v...lated

Andy Mckee-make sure you get three minutes into this one and watch it through the endhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v...lated
