I put 255/70-16 Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tires on my 2001, the size was perfect, my speedo is now absolutely dead on. It was always reading slightly fast before, but with that size tire, it's perfect.MikePathfinder2001 wrote:I need new tires on my 2001 Pathfinder. Currently, I have Toyo 255 65 R16s on it. I wasn't very happy with the tread wear on the Toyos. I'm looking for a better tire and possibly increasing the size. Does anyone have any suggestions. I'm not looking to do a lift. Thanks for the input.

ubpsanity: do you have any pictures of those tires on your truck? i've had the Geolanders onmy old Isuzu Rode and was pretty happy with them. The 255/70 size sounds like it would look really good on the pathfinder.ubpsanity wrote:

I'm also running the Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S (265/65/17) and love them, I've put about 20,000 km on them and they've been stellar for road noise and wear. They've seen ice, snow, mud, and even extremely steep gravel while towing 2000lbs of gear and haven't stuck or slipped yet. (they look good too).ubpsanity wrote:

Although there was a slight rubbing, when reversing and full right lock on the steering wheel. That went away with the new springs..
Not stock offset or size but those are Geos in my signature pic, I can post some closer shots when I go out today if you want to see the tread/sidewall closer.Holidazed wrote:ubpsanity: do you have any pictures of those tires on your truck? i've had the Geolanders onmy old Isuzu Rode and was pretty happy with them. I have the 17" three spoke infiniti rims on my pathy, would 275/55/ r17 fit? I do not know the offset of the factory three spoke infinity rims? Thank you, can you send pics?GRNMACHINE wrote:Changing the wheels? I have been very happy with 275/55/17's. Height is close to stock but the width is alot wider. Was told they wouldnt fit but depending on offset they fit fine.
