Ok So this mornin I get into my Z and see that the Tire pressure monitoring service light is on. Apparently in reference to the owners manual It comes one when the tire pressure needs to be slightly adjusted. But I got one question... Anybody ever have the TPMS light come on also? If so, How did you reset it? I checked all four of my tires and nothing is wrong with any of them. I called in to the dealership this morn, and the tech said there is either sumthing in my tire, or that the TPMS light just needs to be reset. If anybody has any answers to this problem, please let me know!

Yeah your tire pressure is probably a little low. Check the recommended tire pressure and put some air in until you reach the desired psi.

step one, check your tire pressures! if one is low then the lite is doing it's job by alerting you, if they are all at recomended pressure then try resetting it, there si a little button, on the console of the Z33 IIRC (might also be on the dash), looks like a "U" with an "!" in the middle of it, press and hold that buttone for a few seconds (the owners manual should detail this process) if it won't reset then you have a bad sender, and the dealer should replace ti on your 08 for free

I bought my ’08 350Z last night. I was driving home and as I was about 20 miles from the Nissan dealership, the low tire pressure light came on and stayed on. I checked the pressure when I got home and all 4 tires were spot on at 35psi. After work today, I took the car back to the dealership about 45 minutes before the service department closed. They checked the pressure and reset the light. As I was driving home, again about 20 miles from the dealership, the light came on again. I would have gone back but the service department was already closed. So, I guess I’ll be going back again tomorrow.

My wife bought an Altima Coupe 3.5 a couple of months ago and it has been nothing but one problem after another. My Z is only the second Nissan we’ve owned and it appears to be off to the same start as my wife’s car. So far, I’m not impressed with Nissan’s quality control.

the last new nissan I bought was a 99 frontier and it was trouble free needing only scheduled maintenance and brakes and one hose clamp in the 80k I owned it, my )04 silverado has had the speedometer, transfer case control module, transfer case control switch, transfer case encoder motor, stereo all have had to be replaced, not sure if it's newer vehicles or just a few bad ones slipping through
